What we assume

  • Every lane starts with 2 seconds per guest for movement and handover between stations.
  • Planning times per guest: ticket scan 4 sec., ID sample 2 sec. or every ID 6 sec., standard body search 8 sec. or thorough 14 sec., bag check 6 sec., stamp 2 sec. or wristband 4 sec.
  • Relaxed, normal and strong mean 25%, 40% and 60% of all guests arriving within the busiest hour.
  • The full standard entry totals 30 seconds per guest: 3,600 ÷ 30 = 120 guests per hour per lane.
